Hi Steve,

Just a note to tell you that your nose lift is in and flying. It took two  and a half days, should have taking only two, spent half a day looking for a short. Finally found it in a terminal block I installed. Should have looked there first. The system works fine, its the best mod to come along so far for EZ type aircraft. I kept one of the spacers from the orignal device and installed it between the lower bolt holes and used the long through bolt. It does not interfear with anything and seems to give added rigidity. On your gear down indicator light, I think the short lead goes to ground. Thats the way mine is wired and it works fine. Thanks for coming up with such a fine mod, that was so easy to install.

I'm well into chapter 13, nose and nose gear (also completed chapter 14) and installing Steve  Wright's Nose Lift. I'm impressed with it's design and function and glad I chose to install it as I build the nose, though his design and plans appear to provide for an easy retrofit into an existing Cozy. As a chiropractor I endorse this modification to protect the back from unnecessary lifting.

I just installed Steve Wright Power Nose Lift Kit and all I can say is, WOW!!! The kit is first class, easy to install, lifts my overweight butt just fine, and doesn't strip the gear teeth off. I don't have to worry about how to install the Brock step. Best of all, it installed exactly per plans and installed fast,  one long morning and one short morning. Now if I could just get my carburetor that was sent two plus weeks ago back, I could go fly! The kit is not cheap but it is very well done and well worth the money.
